So, before the Droid X was released I called around a few places, got my name put on a list at two different locations. One being right next to my work a place call “A Wireless soloution” I got a call the day before telling me they were not going to have any in stock on release date an possibly not untill the following weeks, I said no problem I’m going to get one from somplace else. Got my Droid X on release day at the Central Ave store Its been what? 2-3 month ssince the phones release… I just got a phonecall from the Lucas fucker, telling me my name was on the list and that he has phones in stock if I’d like to come down and pick one up. I told him that I got one on release day. “Why the fuck don’t you people ever call back to let us know you got a phone” and then proceeded to hang up on me I called him back, “Lucas, are you the asshole that just hung up on me?” he said yes “I was like look man, I got a call from you guys the day before telling me you werent going to have any in stock, I got one somplace else, I was not aware I was supposed to CALL YOU BACK TO LET YOU KNOW I GOT A PHONE 3 MONTHS AGO. and hanging up on me was extremely rude” He proceeded to tell me that 3-4 other people have told him the same thing and hes not having a good day. Regardless he apologized, but thats a completely fuckign dick thing to do. /rant ---

I got my X for 179.99 with no rebates directly from Verizon. It came with free overnight shipping and it arrived much earlier than the estimated instock date they gave me. (it was on backorder, obviously) ---
