anyone knows how to add a abs on my non abs 93 240sx? how parts do i need? thanks!

lol, this is one of the funniest posts i have read in a long long time.

Asking how to add ABS in non-ABS car is like asking how to add HICAS in a NON-HICAS car. Learn to threshold brake…

This is how you would do it:

Step one: Sell the car.

Step two: Buy another car with ABS

Step three: Done!

With this in mind, could we potentially use the thicker rotors and larger piston caliper’s to upgrade our non-abs 240’s? I’m think about an easier alternative to the 300zx brake upgrade.

Questions I do have if possible:

1. would it be worth it?
2. what kind of performance diff would you see? (specific to braking)
3. would it be any easier then the 300zx upgrade?

Answers I do have:

1. would it be worth it? Not at all

2. what kind of performance diff would you see? Nothing

3. would it be any easier then the 300zx upgrade? Yes

Don’t even waste your time or money. Just look at the difference

Great answers, but I guess it was worth exploring.

Sounds like it’d be a upgrade of opportunity, add a little more heat dissipation and less brake fade but not for the purpose of racing or aggressive driving… Also it’d be opportunistic if you have the equipment already.
