well i was skimming through one of my unix books a second ago at work and noticed something rather funny. I came to a section where they define hacking and cracking and the differences between them. I will list a few funny quotes from the book on this topic.

“Thus, the term ‘hacker’ is often used in a positive sense, to describe someone who is capable of massive amounts of **nerd-like** effort.”

“Hackers are socially useful people, though **rarely cool**.”

“For some reason – perhaps a **genetic deficiency** – virtually all crackers are male.”

“A cracker is someone you **would not** want your sister to marry.”

Such a quality book i must say haha.
