# activating DSL service early?

ordered verizon DSL last week and supposed to recive my modem and router today according to UPS. My problem is my SRD isnt for a while yet. Can I get the lines activated early? Anyone here work for Verizon?

ur SRD will prolly get bumped up anyway…mine did when i ordered it…SRD was a like a week earlier than anticipated

did the website tell you that, or did you just try installing it and it worked?

no i got an email like a week before my SRD saying my service was now active

cool, thanks man. I tried calling their tech support (worst tech support ever by the way) and didnt get anywhere. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see

yea it does kinda suck…they had issues with new customers getting connected…they failed to tell me the until the 3rd time i called them trying to get it to work…they were like oh yea we have had problems with new customers in certain areas gettting connected even when their service is ready…i told them they should have asked the first time i called…but its all fixed now and i like it better than cable
