# Added a few doors...

Traded in my white 135i for a white 340i M-Sport… racist, I know. Suck with the 6MT too. BMW ditched the N55 and added some juice to a new motor called the B58. Stock for stock, this thing feels like it is definitely up on power from the N55. Love it so far - the proportions and size make a huge difference in driving feel. While the 1 was a blast to drive, this thing definitely feels bigger; but at the same time just the right amount of stiffness and sporty feel.

any reason you went with the 340 vs the 235? (aside from the extra doors?)

I test drove the M235 and loved it. Felt great and was a decent upgrade from the 135, but at the end of the day the 235 felt so similar to my 135 - I just couldn’t justify that lateral move, even if I did tack on Xdrive. Plus, I wanted something a bit bigger. The 2 series is friggin awesome though fo sho

I can’t wait to see the performance world on these. The N54s we have played with have such strong gains. These should be stronger I hope. I just wish BMW didn’t start bastardizing the model numbers. 404, 4.0L not found.

Was thinking about the same move next summer. Those tires I have on my 135 and makes it one of the best winter cars I have driven. Did you trade in the car at Towne or did you sell it privately?
