# "Aftermarket" Warantees...?

One of the most crooked industries out there. Like others, I had to learn the hard way. The only extended warranty you can count on is from the manufacturer, and it isn’t going to be cheap.

trust me the price of manufacturers products are very fair just the mark ups can be excessive.  
A dealers loss ratio can also determine weather or not a customers questionable claim will be paid with smaller companies. So the customer is being punished for the dealer selling crap cars.

Howie are you past 35000 miles? Have you looked into hondacare? Some of their warranties will extend past 100k

this thread started in Sept of 2005, but my name was thrown out in it and I just wanted to clear some things up since I did not post at all on here back then
