# AIM downlaod manager for MAC

I am trying to send a guy some files over AIM. The only problem is he doesn’t know where they are going.

He is on a MAC.

Any help?

um he should be able to do a spotlight search but the default should be putting everything to the desktop…

um… if he’s using OSX they are probably going into his home folder…  
Tell the guy when he is saving them to pay attention where it is saving to… It doesn’t’ take a genius to figure that one out.

Yeah the guy is a total n00b.

I told him to find “IM Preferences” under “File” or “My AIM”.

From there click on the “File Transfers”.

That would give him the location.

yea… under default download location is states where it will download to… i do mine to the desktop
