you mean R-12?

hopefully not because thats illegal. For any work to be done you will have to

convert over to R-134a.

No he means Freeze12. To convert our cars to R134a it requires work in the expansion unit and additional parts. Freeze12 doesn’t cool as effectively as r134a but it is a straight change from any R12 system with no modification necessary.
I will be charging my system with Freeze12 from Partsource shortly, but I need to get an AC Condenser.

Anyone have leads on an AC Condenser for a 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twinturbo?

well, ac is the least of my worries now, i just got into a car accident this morning…sucks really bad…total damage of $2500. So i might as well repaint the whole car again so no more paint cracks and peels. hey Pat i really need that headlights from you man. Thanks. What a sad day…no boosting for 2 weeks for me, I will go to the meet though.

techinally yes…
but not really need to…
just change the fitting and can use R134a alrdy
although it doesn’t cool as much as R-12, and the system will run a slighty higher pressure…
but it won’t kill the system…
