I took my front seats out a few days ago to fix a tear in one and the heater in the other, and to just give the interior of my car a thorough cleaning before winter.
I just put the seats back in and now i have an AIRBAG light on in my cluster… I rechecked all the wire connections since there were only 2 per seat, and they are all in place.

2000 audi a4 1.8tqm.

I was very gentle with the seats and none of the wires ever got even slightly tugged.

What should i do?

also, will it pass inspection with it on?
