Jager, my hands were sweaty as fuck and people wanted me to burn tire off. I wasnt going to do it without grip so I tossed my Alpinestars on. sedlmeier, normally we have a few Evo’s and STi’s show up. This year there were none, they’ve never had a problem keeping up. wow, this looks like soooo much fun, and the m5 seems to be proving incredibly durable, I am seriously looking to buy one, but originally was concerned of 80+ K miles, but honestly you seem to spend more time going balls to the wall, then I do actually driving so IDK what Im bithcin about. anything (other than the brakes) that after however many miles you’ve put on it that you feel def needs replacing ? ---

If you plan on power shifting or tracking the car, you need a 6 puck clutch. I will bet this clutch (stock) will last me less than 20k HARD miles. Which isnt that bad really. Uhhh, I had to replace a couple bulbs. The thrust arms and RTAB’s are a big issue (see $1200-$5000), but both had been done on my car. And if the VANOS fails you’re looking at $3k-$5k, which I know I’m going to have to do sometime in the next 100k. There is also the carbon buildup issue, which can vary in cost car to car, but mine does not have that either. ---
