Ok guys, as usual I’m posting to try and generate some LOCAL interest in this event 😉 This year AKA Rally is going from Savannah Georgia to Monterey California. The dates for the trip are July 31st - August 7th. I can’t even begin to describe how awesome this event is every year, and it constantly gets better. Basically, I’ve made a ton of lifelong friends who I regularly hang out with in a variety of cities across the US, who have shared some of the craziest and most incredible stories of my life. The AKA Rally has a variety of events we’ve enjoyed in the past such as a private day on a prepped course at the Bonneville Salt Flats, Private Go Kart rentals, VIP parties, Full Access to ALMS and F1 races, White Water Rafting, Track Days, and a host of other exclusive events. I’m sure some of you have heard me come back raving about some of the insanity that takes place. A few NYSpeed’rs have gone in the past and I think ultradriver and deathproof have put down deposits to go this year as well, I think Onyx and Haenszel may be trying to join us this year too. This past year we had: 2 Corvette Z06s E92 M3 2 E60 M5s 4 E39 M5s Turbo 350z Cayenne Turbo x2 Ferrari 360 Porsche Boxster Supra Turbo 2 STi’s C6 Corvette Volvo S60R BMW 135i Porsche 996 C2 Porsche 996 GT3 Porsche 993 C2 3.8 MINI Cooper S Delorean DMC-12 Cage Free Ducati 916S Turbo RX8 BMW M Coupe Lifted Ram Diesel Nissan GTR (x2) And a few others that got left off the list. $4k covers your car, 2 people, hotels, events, parties, dinners and other select meals. You pay for gas, any other food you want, tickets. I think additional people can be added for $900 each. ---

Me and Deathproof are indeed going and have already put the money on the table! I can’t wait! Spending all my time and money getting the car prepped for it too. 😉 need to allow it to keep up with them 430s and what not. ---

How feesible would it be to go on a sportbike? Would you need another driver in a car with the gear/etc. ---

4 people have gone on sport bikes. Ducati, 600RR, R1/R6. We’re a friendly group and always help carry extra fuel, and the luggage of the guys on bikes. You’re insane if you’re thinking about it, but it’s totally doable 🙂 If you go over to revmat.ch and post about it I’m sure Justin will respond about taking his Ducati last year. ---

aprox how much did it run in tickets? do you still have points on your license as a result? when if people got arrested did they meet up at the next place or are you out? looks like a ton of fun but i drive for a living and cant risk loosing my license… ---

Points do not transfer to NY, except from Ontario and Quebec. Tickets out west are CHEAP. We got pulled once for 88 in a 55 in Montana, $48 dollar ticket on the spot, and my 94 in a 55 in CO was $118 :lol: The only place out west that’s expensive ticket wise is CA, where I’ll be watching my speed… hopefully. I’ve only seen 3 people get arrested for on road activities they were not booted out. AKA doesn’t condone speeding, but _shrug_. Two people have been booted out in the past 5 events I’ve done, and they had to do with stupidity in a hotel. ---

ya I just watched the 04 video, the intro the guy in NY said drive safe and don’t speed…lol also there was 2 guys throwing fire crackers off a parking garage that got arrested so i can see what you mean by stupidity in the hotel. ---
