My brother has been there for almost 2 years and hasn’t seen them. I had a perfectly clear night with a good aurora forecast and didn’t see them. Oddly enough I’ve seen the lights from a few hours north of Toronto. Faintly, but they were there. ---

I think that you need to be in the Arctic Circle to see them where they are green. ---

This is a good site for forecasting. When I was there Anchorage was mostly in the green, but not the solid center part. That’s when it’s overhead. I wonder if @AFhockey31 was ever able to see it when he was there? ---

Just got back from another Alaska trip and another brother’s wedding. You’d think my family grew up there, lol.
