Lesnar could overpower Fedor. I’m not saying he would just that it’s possible. Guy is big as fuck and can move his weight. I don’t see Fedor KO’ing Brock so it would either have to be submission or decision. Brock is no joke on the ground either with his background so i wouldn’t say Fedor has much of an advantage anywhere in that fight other than just more experience to be honest. Be a good fight to see thought thats for sure, however odds are it will never happen. ---

Fedor has won ten national Sambo tournaments, 3 world Sambo tournaments, a world Judo tournament (the last sambo tournament was in 2009). Brock won ONE NCAA tournament a decade ago, and hasn’t wrestled competitively since. Fedor takes this even in a straight up grappling match. Add in Fedor’s surprise vicious KO power and it’s a pretty easy victory. And keep in mind - Lesnar had trouble using his wrestling against a 50lbs lighter Couture. ---

I think you’re underestimating Brock and basing your argument on what they have done, and not what they are capable of doing. Brock is a monster. Fedor is a beast, don’t get me wrong, you can’t argue that he isn’t… but you can’t count out Brock. ---

Again, I have nothing against brock for doing what he is doing. If I was his size, I would use the same style he does, but has he ever gone up against someone of his own size though? I hate to say it, but I really want to attribute his wins to just out sizing opponents and not out skilling them. ---

i know people like to rag on the ufc and yes i agree the leauge has pretty much sold out, especially by aligning themselves with tapout, the armpit of the industry. But lets not hate on the UFC for makin money, im sure like any franchise they are worried about the way the economy is right now and they are trying to stock up on all the sponsorhips and endorsements they can. Secondly, lets not forget that in order to compete and more importantly STAY in the ufc, you have to be among the best in the world. I understand that the whole brock lesnar thing is a little ridiculous and yes they most likely had him fight for the belt so soon soley for the ratings, but the man is a really good fighter. I think there are lots of heavyweights other than Lesnar that would give fedor a run for his money. I would like to see undefeated cane valasquez vs. fedor. Or maybe even frank mir. Lots of people that dominate other leauges come to the ufc and get rattled up. Nate marquardt was the king of pancrase and he did pretty well at first in the ufc then anderson silva knocked him out in the first round in a belt match. I just think there are deffinitly some heavyweights in the ufc that could probably beat him. ---

For whoever is thinking Lesnar vs Fedor… what if Carwin KTFO Lesnar? If Carwin the new #2 and people will talk about Carwin vs Fedor? Nobody get this backwards, Fedor is the benchmark by which all HWs are measured, not whoever is UFC’s flavor of the week. 😉 ---

Don’t get me wrong, I think Carwin has a better chance at beating Lesnar than anyone else in the UFC, especially Cain, but I don’t find him as intimidating and impressive on the ground. Maybe he just hasn’t shown it… ---

But GG’s ground game is world class and he’s a huge dude too so it’s hard to say. IMO Lesnar gets rocked by Carwin and finished by TKO, IF that fight ever even happens! IMO Cain is given way too much credit. Kongo had like no time to train for their fight and almost won it anyway. Let’s see Junior Dos Santos vs Cain, I think Cain gets KTFO! 😃 ---

Couture being the main even based off his name is weak, the guy does not perform well anymore. He hasn’t won a fight in 2 years. Vera by T/KO. I feel the Swick vs Hardy match will be the one to watch on that card. I’m thinking Swick takes it by submission, or Hardy by T/KO. Wilks over Brown by Submision. Kang over Bisping by submission if it goes to the ground, otherwise Bisping by T/KO. No idea about the other fights. ---

Randy is still elite. He’s only lost to a 280lb wrestler (terribly matchup stylistically) and to the #3 HW in the world in Nog. Besides that he wrecked GG and Big Tim. Vera is incredible, watch the match where he makes Mir look like the fool he is. He’s just one of those fighters that lost his focus and forgot what he wanted to be. Unfortunately the match IS sort of boring because neither will be relvant at 205 for at least another 3 wins. LHW is waaay too stacked, even with Hendo gone. I hear Swick wants a GSP fight soon. 🦨 Even if he gets past Hardy he might literally get killed by the Rush. edit: Strikeforce’s next card is also Couture/Vera, Kim Couture and Kerry Vera!
