i’m sure its nowhere near as big as here though, choices would be a bit limited i would think?

there are a few rinks in the area. Its not huge, but you can certainly join a men’s league and play some hockey.
can’t have your cake and eat it too(maybe half the cake?)

thats what i meant, i know the hurricanes are there but that doesnt mean their hockey crowd is anything like it is in the NE. but it is nice to know there are places to skate. how are the rinks down there?

Well, no one has said it yet, but I would really love to live in Nashville, TN. My aunt and uncle lived there for a whole and I have been there many times to visit. If you can get past the country music (could be a challenge for me) its actually a really great city: really nice housing (in the suburbs) for reasonable prices, dirt cheap property taxes, either little or no sales taxes, weather isnt bad (gets up there in the summer maybe 90-100 for a few weeks in the dead of summer and prob doesnt get less than 40 in the winter), the economy isnt terrible, and the people are all really nice for the most part. I havent been there in probably about 5 years so maybe its changed, but from what I remember it was a great place!
EDIT: lets be honest, as much as i would like to go live somewhere else, I’ll prob still be here in a few years despite all the talk.

I am currently living in Carson City, NV home of the Moonlight Bunny Ranch, about 20 minutes south of Reno. I am here on Co-op for RIT so it is just a trial but I would consider moving to the area if I got a job offer. I really like the area and there is always something to do, I cannot wait for Hot August Nights in Reno
