# Almost Got Arrested Last night.... F-ing WS Cops....

Yup… last night sucked…
I’m driving from Roadhouse in Hamburg to Flattery’s on Orchard Park road, WS cops pulls out behind me about 1/2 mile from Flattery’s, and follows me, then right infront of the bar he pulls me over… I’m like WTF’s going on; I’m not speeding, I have my seatbelt on, etc…
Turns out that he ran my plates, and that for some unknown reason my car comes back with suspended regristration… Mistermeanor offence… operating a vehicle with invalid registration… fuckers…
So… luckly instead of impounding the car, he lets me pull it into the parking lot, hands me a screw driver and makes me give him the plates. Hand me a ticket for the Lack of registration PLUS a ticket for the license plate bulb being out. What an asshole.
This leads back to another thread a while ago where Allstate cancelled my insurance without notice and JEG had to deal with some of it, as well as I back in January. I paid the DMV fines to keep the car, and etc… I’ve collected all my paperwork, and even if I didn’t pay the fine and whatever, it was a 22 day suspension starting onFeburary 20th; that would have ended on what, the 14th of march… now I’ve got no car, and have to go to court and deal with WS court on Tuesday, and the DMV on wednesday to get new plates and shit…
I know a lot of this doesn’t make sence, but my brain is a little fried from drinking too much after this last night.

Oh, and as for the almost arrested part… to go along with it all, he basically said that he “could’ve” arrested me for this along with impounding the car… he was being “nice” by letting me off with what I got…

not really. I am his roomate, and was on my way to the bar myself. He told the cop that i had the reciepts to prove everything was in check, and i would be there in 5 min. The cop said he didn’t care and he would have to show it to the judge. That i consider dick since the car is completly legal ,and marshall even showed the guy the current registration!

How is this about the cops, your insurance company fucked up?!
Cops are not there to ‘decide’ if you are right or wrong. Everone has an excuse. Courts are for that.
Oh, wait, maybe we should fire all the judges and give police the right to make those decisions.
Why is it so hard to understand this.
