# Alternators pooched..

Shes done with… Out of past experiences or words…  
Who can tell me a good shop in mississauga/GTA to have it rebuilt at?  
As cheap as possible. A new one is $200, so idealy anywhere from 100-140 bucks rebuilt… Quality too 😛  
And to take it out… Loosen 2 back bolts, then belt/tensioner, then rest of bolts?

BTW, Its SOHC.

Hey honestly man dont rebuild just go to a junkyard and pull on out first, I got one when I had my SOHC for 30 dollars and it was great.

should be ok just so you know there is no diffrence between the SOCH and the DOCH alt’s. I had the same issue with my 89 and it then got a 92 alt.

sorry to be a D\*\*\* but its DOHC and SOHC. (double over cam head?)
