So i have a rockford fosgate p4004 amp and i have a pioneer 1200 watt 10" sub with it. i had it in my older car with an 8 guage wire and it worked perfectly and recently i took it out and put it in my new car with a 4 guage wire. and now everytime i put the volume up, the amp goes into protection mode and the sub stops working and when i bring the volume down, it stars working again. any ideas what it could be? any help would be great, its getting a little frustrating.
