# Amplifier Repair

After removing my box/amplifier for my last autocrossing event of the season, I reconnected everything only to find that the amp keeps blowing both 20amp fuses. The main fuse on my power wire is fine. I thought I might be retarded so I had a car audio shop manager check everything and STILL keeps blowing fuses. He said there must be a short inside the amp. Has anyone ever opened up an amp and repaired it? I’m willing to spring some cash for repair unless it gets close to the point where I could just buy another amp. Its a kicker 300 or 500W, not sure, really don’t care, its only pushing 1 JL3 12" subwoofer in a ghetto edition custom plexiglass box lol. Lemme know, I’m trying to get my car work all squared away this weekend. Thanks
