Not really that surprised. Manufacturer’s always leave quite a bit on the table with stock boosted cars. It is a twin turbo V8, I doubt they would send it off the plant floor with the turbos and fuel system completely maxed out, you want to leave some room to ensure some longevity. ---

In my position we “de-tune” the engine all the time based on what the OEM customer wants/needs. ---

I thought these were de tuned from the factory in the interest of transmission life?
