Thats how i used to mount tractor tires for people when they brought um into firestone when i worked there. They’d be too small for the machine so i took some intake cleaner shit we had and threw a match. It’s an easy way to set the bead, but it doesnt make getting the tire over the rim any easier. ---

Do it that way all the time @ my dads shop for semi tires. Well, using compressed air and a big valve, but it’s all the same principle. Very good trick to know. ---
