I could name another 3 or 4 cars off the top of my head that are faster as well including a modded e55, and a modded e60 m5.

I know there are many cars that are around it’s level, a lot of things come to mind like the VS Motor E34 M5 etc.
I just found it entertaining that of all things it’s a 3rd gen and I thought the bit about the douchebag AMG engineers was funny.

So I actually read the article where they bring up the fact that other cars are faster, but they used “other” timing equipment so they must have faked the speeds. Why do idiots always claim this?

Meh, if you want to be official you use the official timing equipment. If I go to Bonneville with a stopwatch and say my car beat some Bonneville record it isn’t going in the record book.
