Now the big issue is your past and the charges you’ve had and even any sort of conviction whether it a violation or not. They can easily convict you on these depending on the jury unfortunately. ---

Plus I just called TWO local stores down the street and asked them if a guy tried to come in there selling a fake gold chain and they said YES and described the guy to me so maybe this case will be easier to beat then I thought… just gotta get the video tape, might have to throw him like $100 or something… Then it becomes Attempted grand larceny and or fraud on the guy. ---

Your mistake was leaving the store, once you did that you lost all claims of self defense. If we were in Texas it would be a different story, but this is NY. The minute you pulled a weapon on someone first you stepped over that line, especially since the person you pulled it on was unarmed. Is the shotgun registered to you or is it legally in your possession? ---

sucks to hear man i hope most the charges get dropped, people like this suck on another note what you could have done is when inspecting the chain and determining that you had to grind into it, before offering up 3300 why not grind into it and if the chain is fake give the guy 10 bucks and the chain back and say best of luck, if not and it proves to be real buy it for said 3300. i think that would have been safer from a buyers perspective ---

Your best hope right now is that guy #2 bails and isn’t able to testify against you. Best of luck beating it, because it’s a shitty situation, but I think you need to start taking this a little more seriously. I will never see guy number too again in my life gaurenteed lol… He isnt coming back upstate to testify lol and thats only if the case goes to trial… Im trying to get off with a disorderly conduct which is a violation not a crime and skip the trial bullshit. Trial is a gamble no matter how much evidence you have and im def not willing to go that distance for a coin flip outcome. I dont think I mentioned this erither, but I had a witness in my store the entire time, some kid trying to sell a $20 cell phone. He agreed to go to court if nessisary AGAINST the cops threatening him to testify AGAINST me even though he thought I was innocent and did the right thing… another reason cops are peices of shit. ---
