My friend needs a car. She currently drives an '85 cutlass ciera. It’s junk. It’s referred to as the gutpile. In fact, last night, we were hit by another car on the drivers side and now it’s even more junky than it was before. She doesn’t have a lot to spend. Less than $1000, preferably. Little to no work needed. 5speed. Here’s what she says… HA. “I just want a sweet car that everyone will like, that’s stick, and not in bad shape.” Oh, and “Say I’m a hot girl, who needs a hot car, for a cheap price.” Lemme know what you have. I started searching today. I’m on craigslist right now. Everything I call about is already sold. And all those cars you posted suck. Haha. I mean, I know you can’t get much for $1000, but I’m sure someone can find something better than that beat ass Hyundai, or the sexy cavalier. hahaha. ---

why not just tell her (along with every other DUMMY) to just get over the whole 5speed thing and buy my volvo…honestly if you don’t buy a good car/for a good $ just b/c its not a stick, you are being ridiculous. Everyone is not a race car driver here…and for a reliable daily…GIVE YOUR LEFT FOOT A F@#^#%& REST ALRIGHT. ---

dude, beast i told her last night to buy the volvo. she doesn’t even know how to fucking drive stick yet. this is just what she wanted me to write. and, she doesn’t like volvo’s because of the “headrests”. :picard: shit, i’d buy the volvo if i didn’t just buy an audi last night. ---

Tell her to buy Beast’s Volvo or that 85K Altima posted above. You’re not going to find a reliable standard car that turns heads for a grand unless you’re up for doing some work to it first, so she should settle for a decent older import. Oh, and the Volvo has solid padded headrests, not the plastic type. ---

1996 Saturn SL2? my DD. 143k. Drive it to Cleveland and Rochester regulary. Get over 35MPG highway. Doesn’t look like a pile of shit. I’d take $1000 to sell it without listing it. ---
