# Another Bike Accident

From what I’ve heard from Albany Sheriffs he was doing a wheelie.

The motorcycle is Darwin’s favorite tool.
Just yesterday alone I saw:
1. A guy lane split in 5:00 northway traffic. He was flying and I never even saw him coming. right in the heaviest traffic in the latham area.
2. Rider with helmet. T shirt with the sleeves rolled up even though it appears as if he has never even seen a gym in his life. He was also wearing WIND PANTS, and low top sneakers.
I suppose the sneakers are better than flip flops. :eek2

Wrong…even tho I occasionally enjoy doing a wheelie and watching people do them as well, there is NO correct or incorrect way to do a wheelie, you can get hurt either way! No matter what doing a wheelie is not safe but I say to each his own.

There are controlled wheelies vs. squiddy twisting the throttle until the front end comes up and you are going 100mph wheelies. That was what I meant.

Thats because they don’t know what they are doing. If you don’t know your bike’s limits then you shouldn’t even be thinking about doing wheelies/stoppies/drifting or anything of the sort.

Most people don’t know the bikes “limits”, yourself included.
And before you say otherwise, think of all the things that you don’t or can’t do on the bike that others can, whether it be leaning to near drop of the bike with the leg kicked out, backing it in through turns or doing insane stunts.

:rofl You have already learned the limits of your bike? You can actually ride your bike at its limits without making an error ever? Why are you not on TV making some crazy money?

I meant YOUR limits, not the limits of the bike. Read what I wrote above \*\*\*\*.
Meaning the limits you are comfortable with. If I could ride my bike to it’s limits I would have it set up for track use only and it wouldn’t see much if any street use.
The fact that you have to search through things I posted weeks (months?) ago to try and make a point is too much.
Why is i d i o t edited out? Is that really such a harsh word nowadays?
You say it’s very easy to judge somebody else. :lol
I’m sorry but doing a wheelie here and there is within my riding limits. I grew up riding bikes and ATV’s (my family owned a bunch of them), I think the first time I rode a bike was when I was 8 or 9 years old. I’m not some squid that just went out one day and said “HEY THATS COOL! I’LL TAKE THE HVCC COURSE AND RIDE LIKE A PRO!”
I also have a lot of learning to do still on this bike. I want to eventually set it up for track use in the future.

Simple. I dumped the bike because I was riding outside of them.
Three times actually. Which reminds me I still need to order new axle sliders. :lol
Each time I was wearing gloves, jacket, and helmet (of course). I’ve dumped dirtbikes many times wearing no gear and that hurt like hell. It’s amazing how much your gear protects you, even at low speed. Unfortunately a majority of “riders” don’t recognize this and or still don’t wear their gear. I guess road rash is the cool thing nowadays.
