ok so i brought a reciept to court saying i put the stock exhaust back on. and i got a 30 dollar parking ticket… gotta pay to play? any how not too bad just glad i didnt actually have to do any labor to get by! ---

Glad it worked out for ya. Heres a quick little story. A couple years back I was driving through a small town East of Lancaster in my Chevy Pick up just b4 x-mas. My windows were _slightly_ darker than stock, got pulled over by a NYS Trooper & was issued a ticket. ``` So I go to court, I get called up to the judge following a guy with his 3rd DUI in 2 years so I guess my tint wasnt a high priority on his list. I was expecting to just hear the fine amount, Not expecting any questions so I was a little off guard when the Judge asks me, if I bought the truck that way, I say "I did". (while in my mind I'm saying, HUH?? no I didnt) Then he asks me if I've removed the tint yet, (again, I hear that voice saying, nope) But I say "I did" He looks at me again, a little closer as if he didnt believe me. ``` Repeats his question,“Did you remove the tint”? Without any hesitation I answer yes! It is right about this time It registers with me that I’ve just lied to a judge 2times, with the vehicle sitting outside his courtroom, just waiting for him to have a look. I think to myself, **_WTF am I doing!!_** I didnt mean to lie, I’ve gotta tell the truth?? But it’s past the point of no return… ``` He looks in his law book, couldnt find the ticket fee for tint, looks at the assistant & says "can I just dismiss the case" The assistant says "you are the judge, you can do whatever you like" The Judge says "your right, case dismissed, Merry Christmas"! ``` I thanked him & wished him one too. Got to my truck in the parking lot, praying he didnt follow me… he didnt. ---

at least you didn’t get the ticket where my cottage is. I was in Rushford, ny with the only cop there who decides to pull me over because my exhaust was loud as a bitch. my front pipe and mid pipe rotted between the two and split. i had the new front pipe on my car when i got pulled over and the guy still gave me an exhaust ticket. he was threatening to give me tickets for bald tires to when i still had tread left. i got the exhaust fixed and went to court to show them the paper work and they still made me pay for it. fucking bullshit this cop was the same one to watch a pickup truck full of a lot of shit drive off at 3 in the morning from the area our cottages were at. ends up being everyones shit that got stolen. his excuse was that he thought they were just skipping out on rent, which is still illegal. fucking asshole ---

i got a loud exhaust ticket in my saturn sc2 once and have yet to even get pulled over for loud exhaust in my Camaro with mid length headers, high flow cat, and slp loud mouth cat back (no mufflers). i guess cops don’t like high pitch exhaust notes, lol. ---

I’m confused… I’m pretty sure I’ve looked at the back of a stock SRT-4 and it has a muffler canister under there??? ---

I later re-installed it, with a couple clamps and a cut up coffee can. Made it much less noisie. ---
