My great grandparents are from Italy and Prussia. They didn’t teach their children Italian or Prussian or broken English. They made their children learn English and assimilate into this country. My great grandfather lost his citizenship due to illegally producing wine and booze, but still stayed in this country legally by filing his papers every year so his family could be successful. He paid taxes, and paid his dues. (Most likely didn’t pay taxes on the illegal booze, but o well.) Why do the current immigrants feel that they deserve to be here?
