# Any fun/cool part-time jobs out there?

Def. I was a ski instructor at Swain out of college. At the time, if you were full time, they paid $7-8/hour just to be on the mountain and then another $6-7/hour when you were teaching on top of the 7-8. Free to be on the mountain if you had your instructor jacket on, then you could get one free pass a day for one of your friends. Sweetest deal ever.
Also only worked from 4-8ish each night and occasional weekends. The season for instructors doesnt really start until January though when the ski clubs start to come out, but it lasts till April or May depending on how good you are.
If you are in Rochester you could still teach under the Swain name. They own Powder Mill Park last time I knew. though you wouldnt make as much there as the mountain is smaller and fewer students.

yeah i got a 100$ tops giftcard for thanksgiving and 200$ debit card bonus for christmas, if i would have started working 2days sooner it would have been 400$ ☹
i really liked the job and im pissed i quit
edit: they also gave you random shit with your paycheck lol, like free installation on cable tv, free pizza coupons, free 50% off furniature

x2, being a full time student pizza deliveries rock. On a ok night I can get $110+ for 5 hours of work all while fucking around in my beater and wasting $10 in gas.

valet parking is by far the best part time job to have, i cant believe it hasnt been mentioned yet. i know a couple guys who went south and do valet full/part time and make goooood money doing it.

I sold tv’s at sears for like 2 years and i got paid to sit around watch tv an talk to people. definately was a good part time deal. Until corp decided to force more training on people. I still know a few people who work there and it is still really chill.
Then i did valu hardware for a while, shitty pay (i was answering ?'s that people that have been there years couldnt and they wouldnt pay me more) , no discounts, and BS about giving up hours for working.

I’ve been a game tech at D&B for over a year. walk around, play video games, check out the local trim, and get paid for it. no complaints yet.

i worked for mikes subs on delaware in kenmore for a couple years. by far the BEST job if you want to get paid to smoke pot. not saying that we ever smoked pot during business hours or smoked pot in general :snky: drugs are bad
i delivered food. one year, i made more than the owner of the store. i’d come home everyday with well over a hundred bucks in my pocket and still get a check every friday
