# Any m3/m5 owners have an m mobility kit? q:

I can’t find a spare that fits my spare tire well and still accomodates my brakes. I’m thinking about ditching the spare and just rocking an ///m mobility kit

any of you e46+ m3 or e39+ m5 owners have one? if so, would you mind giving me the measurements of the case (or could I borrow one for a couple days next week)? I’m getting a box built in my spare tire well, was hoping to leave enough room for a factory jack, m mobility kit and breaker bar/socket (i have studs, none of that lug bolt bs)

my bet is most people [with modded cars] dont even have a spare. I couldnt imagine not having one though

Mine looks nothing like that either
If your going to rock the Mobility kit, you don’t need the jack, and you wont need a breaker bar since you wont be taking the tire off to replace/repair any flats…
I just carry the compressor and a tire plug kit

I actually modified my Jeep so it was able to carry not one but two spares. Weird right.

it was my understanding there were 2 editions of the kit, the turner one being the more recent of the two?

What do you mean lug bolt BS? I’ve never had trouble with my lug bolts.

I think he is talking about tryign to put a wheel back onto the car while balancing it on the hub… made even worse if you have spacers… its a big PITA…
but then again, he could always convert to studs pretty easily
