# anybody have a Helicoil 14x1.5?

my B series tranny drain plug threads are close to non-existant, does anyone have/know where to get a thread saver/helicoil in 14x1.5, all the local stores only have 14x1.25, any help would be appreciated. Has anyone ever used JB Weld on applications as such? I dont want to do it but thats my last resort if this Helicoil doesnt work.

cant u tap bigger or use a bigger"help" drain plug. that is going to be a bitch to heli coil

back in the day a certain K20 oil pan was jb welded and it held for a long time

Forget the helicoil and get a 1 oversized m14x1.50 at a local NAPA or CARQUEST store they should have them in stock. They self tap to cut new threads
