# Anyone a tow truck driver & have some info?

I have no clue, I never bothered to get it. I just tell them I dont go out of state.

Then you have an interstate only or “K” restriction. When you renew next you will need a physical because that restriction will drop, unless you have had a CDL continuously since 9/9/1999 and have never since submitted a medical cert or indicated that you work for a school or municipality. That is, unless you do indeed drive for a school or municipality which is where article 19-a comes in and you don’t need a DOT Physical because they have their own standards.

I dont have or need a cdl, just a regular license.
