# Anyone drop off a kitten to the SPCA? Now with pics!

Wife just found a kitten and we don’t know anyone that wants it. I tried calling the SPCA but they were closed. What needs to be done to drop off a kitten?
Also, if anyone is interested they can come and take it.

its a TON of paperwork to drop one off…
last time i foudn one i just put it up on CL and nyspeed and one of my brothers friends endded up taking it

What color(s) is it?
Depending on what color it is I may be interested. =)

dont take it to the spca right now…the arnt accepting cats but try calling everyday cuz they have openings once one is adopted

We just dropped one off a couple weeks ago at Ensminger. They just ask where you live and where it was found and make you sign a paper. That’s it.

I took one I found a few years back, had to sign paperwork and pay $25
then when I wanted to adopt my current cat 2yrs later they gave me a bunch of bullshit over the surrender

true…you can adopt many pets but as soon as you turn one in they dont like that…lol

Its one thing to drop a pregnant cat off there, but a kitten, that should be a breeze. Seeing as how its 1 kitten, and not many people (at least I don’t think) would take more than one, he would get adopted fast.
I’d love a new cat right now, our 3 now are getting up there in age.
I think a good name for it if its a girl would be Amber. Why? The amber colored eyes and hair above it’s eyes.
