# Anyone ever mess with a Hit n miss motor?

I dug this thing out from the back of our second shop back in 11th grade. (2004ish)  
I cleaned it up, got the oiler working, got the piston and rings free and clean.  
I have power coming from the mag, but I can’t tell If I’m actually getting a spark in the chamber.  
Also, My intake valve “flutters” I’m not sure if I’m not getting enough air.  
This could be normal as I have never seen it run.

My right arm is going to be massive from hand cranking this effing thing.

Have to snap a few later. I had it puffing but my arm cramped up and I had to give up for the day.  
I’m about to rig up a PTO attachemt for the tractor.

Took tha mag apart, cleaned it and got it timed last night. I was getting really weak spark if any in the chamber, now it very strong. Doesn’t seem to want to fire gas for some reason. It will pop once on propane.  
I can spray gas right at the spark and it wont do anything.
