People really are retarded down there especially when summer rolls around. Me and my buddy rolled through a couple times friday night after we were at the boardwalk then went over to Rollins. Last night ended up doing some interesting things not in the strip šŸ¤£ ---

BS? The third night out of the academy and on the job I went into a robbery in progress w/ my seargent(Training officer). I was the primary officer clearing the house when two guys fired a .22 rifle down the stairs into the basement at us. Needless to say we returned fire blindly but stayed put until backup arrivedā€¦by then the guys had taken off but my seargent knew who they were from previous interactions w/ them. That same summer I was in ATLEAST a half of dozen shootings either involving us shooting or being shot at. EVERY one of our police cars had bullet holes in them at one point or another. It was a crazy job and I made less than $7/hr. I had a daughter at the end of that year making me come to my senses and to resign and go back to school. I was never shot and never shot anyone(that I know of). šŸ™‚ ---

Those guys donā€™t get paid dick because you have to have training and all the deparments know it, so you donā€™t really get paid anything to do it. I have a buddy of mine that works for N. Versailles right out of the academy was making $7.50 for about 8 months before he finally got a full time job elsewhere.
