is there anything special about a supercharger pully puller versus a normal puller? ---

its meant for a supercharger so it dont destroy the splines of the pulley or the shaft ---

The s/c puller needs to hold the pully 100% straight so to not mess up the very strict tolerances for the s/c shaft. The puller is also an installer as well which needs to ensure that the pully goes back on 100% straight. If you off by a little bit it would ruin the shaft and then you would need to replace the blower ---

I rented mine from Nate @ smoothflowpulleys for like 30 bucks a few years ago. Probably should have just bought the fucking thing but oh well, what can you do. ---
