Talked to the dude (John) on the phone about getting my flywheel
resurfaced. Cost is about $60 or so. He sounded very nice and friendly on
the phone. This is the same company NAPA sends off flywheels to (along
with other shit).
I called up Dermac Nissan and the dude on the phone said they don’t do
flywheel surfacing. And I asked him if they even at least send it out to
other shops to do it and he said No. :wtf:
So I called up 401 Dixie and they said they send it out to a shop but I lost
the shop’s phone/contact info. ☹
WTF is up with Dermac? I figured all authorized Nissan dealers provided
similar service.
Anywho, gonna just get the shit over and done with Precision. Gonna drop
it off tomorrow morning unless I hear some negative shit about them from
you guys tonight. 🙂

hey id shop around a bit if i were u, call some machine shops, i know for a fact that i used to pay 30 bucks for a flywheel re-surface and wash, the name of the machine shop i used to use was engine tec out in cambridge, i know a bit far for u to go, but im sure u can find comeone similarly priced out in brampton

Price doesn’t matter to me. And I have like little or no time to start
digging around for machine shops. (Shoulda done it earlier but it’s too
little too late).
And I’m not stepping out of Brampton to get something done. I work 9 to
6:30 and most shops are open 8 to 6. I leave my house at 8am every
morning, just so I can be at work by 9am.
Like I said, I got this company info from NAPA and NAPA knows their shit
otherwise they wouldn’t mess with two-bit shops.
Since this shop is on my way, I figure I can drop it off and head to work
without too much time loss.
