Iāve spray painted the interior on my eclipseā¦and I got destroyed. Iāve learned not to do stupid shit to cars, and especially not post it on here. So with saying thatā¦you sir are a dumbass.
But everyone to their own, I just would not want to be in that car with you.

Hey NYSpeed experts:bloated:, I too cut an inactive coil off my lowerings springs on my SHO and have been driving on them like this for over 40k miles no with no noticeable driving and handling characteristics. I plan to do the same treatment to the lowering springs on my dadās 55ā Chevy. Inactive coils are simply that, inactive. Do any of you people have hard proof to back up your claims that this is such a big deal? Heating coils to lower a car has been around longer then people on this site have been alive, and done in moderation can be an effective method.

I donāt know if comparing elderly drivers is the best comparisonā¦but Iād venture to guess that cutting an inactive coil would be safer than say, overpowering the chassis on a car like MANY people out there have done.
Examples:
\*Fox bodied Mustangs with 500rwhp and stock 11" front discs/rear drums
\*turbo Civic hatches running 150mph+
\*People who get kicked out at the track for going to fast without cages.
\*All the cars on the road that canāt pass NYS inspection
I could go on and onā¦
