# Anyone in the southtowns good with a multimeter and free today?

my new to me vw is acting funny, the alt will charge sometimes, then other times it wont. i was wondering if someone could come out and help me test the alt to see if its bad or its just a loose wire/ground somewhere. i will pay you in beer and reacharounds. i have a multi (well a roomate does) but none of us know how to use it :bloated:

cant autozone do this with the alt on or off the car?

i dont want to drive it there, the thing died on me yesterday in the middle of rt.20 @ the 7 corners. i created quite the traffic jam (pun intended)

idk, im sure i could figure it out eventually, but i would rather have someone come and tell me for sure if they could

cant, its not mine! but for $75 you can come help me and take it away… kill 2 birds with 1 stone?
