# Anyone know where I can learn to fight?

since every thread seems to go this way eventually; i’ll add that you **cannot** use deadly force to prevent a simple assault. your actions must always be _proportional_ to the threat. that is to say that you can’t shoot someone that punches you in the face unless you have reason to believe that he’s trying to kill you (and you’ll have to prove that…)

that said; if the guy somehow _ends up_ with some kind of weapon in his hand… that’s self-defense… i’ve said too much… :snky:
