At Jim’s they have this 4X8 ft sheets of SS that go behind the fryers and toasters and such.It is like 2"X2" diamonds that are like embossed in the metal.Looks alot nicer then the typical flat SS sheets.
If anyone has an idea LMK

call any steel place in town. I know Lancaster Steel has it, be prepared to shell out BIG bucks, we looked at gettin a bunch for our pizzeria the cost is Whoa. If it for just walls get sheets of aluminum and polish it with a DA. that will do the same job, if you want it for countertops yer stuck with SS.

ss diamond plate is prolly about 309478928374 bucks depending on thickness aluminum is prolly around 2834723 bucks.

What do most restaurant use behind the fryers?Is it aluminum?I always thought it was SS.OK I want whatever JSO has up in their kitchen.

yea for walls it simply has to be fire retardant. aluminum will do that. ALso a place to check is your local highway dept. Laugh? no- They make street signs outta the shit, if you know someone with an in, you can get a good deal on some sheets of that ish.

I wasn’t worried too much about the fire proof,I just thought it would look nice and be easily cleanable.

when i worked at ted’s when i was a kid, they just used aluminum panels around the fryers.
