# Anyone local that does ceramic coating for exhaust tips

I’m looking to get all four of my exhaust tips ceramic coated in gloss black.
A quick google search doesn’t show much.

Are you talking powdercoated?
Ceramic coating is like fancy paint detail wax.
They sell ceramic coated paint at autozone for exhausts.

Detailers ceramic coat brake calipers. Im sure they can do exhaust tips as well.

The actual ceramic coating he is talking is wet ceramic paint that is baked to finish. Cerakote is a particular brand typically associated with fire arms that would work. I’ve done it but not available to help. Detective coating does it but they moved away to where there is an economy to support their business.

Hes actually right around the corner from me but last time I had him do some work I didn’t care for it. Super nice guy though. I also only thought he did powder coating. In his defense I did rush him a bit… long story. Maybe I’ll give him a second chance

Weird, I am actually looking to do this exact thing to my exhaust tips. Tired of cleaning the carbon build up??

He did an amazing job on my wheels. I left them for a week tho over winter.

New exhaust and I can’t stand chrome.
