# Anyone on here got an SRT4?

I was wondering what most people are running in the 1/4 with these things. I finally raced one a week or so ago and even though it sounded mean as hell I took him by about 3 car lengths in my 95 Z28 pretty much stock. I wasn’t really even on it till he chirped second and I saw he was trying something. Oh well, I still like those cars even if they are slow. HAHA

I have one. They rate these cars as being capable of very low 14’s (like 14.1,14.2)…ppl have been known to get a stock srt into the high 13’s tho…The lowest, i’ve heard of is a 13.6 (no catback…) On factory rubber, anything less than a 2.0 60ft is very hard to come by…

Thanks for the info. I still want an SRT4 either way. And last I checked when someone pulls out fast as hell from a light and bangs second it’s clearly a race. It’s not my fault that I got a late start and still beat him. I really don’t see what the big suprise is when I drive a car capable of high 13’s stock.

U can get them pretty cheap. Depending on yr, mileage, mods…they can range from 14k-18k. I know someone who may be selling one if ur interested.

you can get them way WAY less then 14. more like 10 if you go with an 03 with out posi.
i use to have one with less then a 600 into it it went 13.4 @100 then did exhaust and went 13.4 @ 106 spinning 1st and second. could have been a 12 second car.
they are fun and handle pretty well and get decen tmilage (on the highway suck in town)

I went 13.13 @ 106.93 1.92 60’ when I had mine. Only mods were drag radials, short throw shifter, solid motor mounts, and a cold air induction it was an 04.
