# anyone repair blackberries?

the track wheel thing is fucked on my 8700g. i have no idea why. ive never had an issue with the phone and all of a sudden it stopped clicking…you can scroll but not select(click _in_). someone help before i just throw it out im so pissed that tmobile or blackberry/rim wont back their product.

did you contact RIM? as long as there is no water/physical damage it should be covered under warranty, but i cant say for sure.

you have a 1 year warranty at least with your phone.
I have a 8700c that I can hook you up with maybe…
PS. have you tried taking the battery out and leaving it out for like 1 minute, and putting it back in?
Strangely, it works sometimes…

Well, its not the software or anything really fuggin up its physically the track wheel wont push in…or its stuck in…or you cant feel it click in, it only scrolls up and down.

take a q-tip with alcohol on it, might solve the issue

you have to take it out once in a while and clean it.
Does anyone here know where to get a track ball? a buddy of mine lost his track ball and the little thing that holds it in
