which is why i’m asking for help i’m all out of ideas…but here’s one thing tho…with this board i don’t HAVE to set it up in a raid config i can do a non-raid setup which i won’t need the raid drivers when installing windows. but it wont’ let me do that either…so i’m starting to think it’s not a raid config problem there’s a problem somewhere else ---

sounds like what happened when the capacitors in the midplane of amanda’s G5 started to go bad. ---
