# anyone sbc in a fox?

has anyone here ever done it or knew of anyone that did this? what modifications are neccesary besides changing motor mounts?

anything can be done ive seen videos on street fire of ls juans in foxes to but i dont know why you wouldnt just buy a fbod. unless thats just what you have laying around motor and shell wise then more power to you good luck.

If you’ve got a nice built motor sitting around, go for it. I’m sure it can’t be that difficult.

oh well than yes you can fit tons of different motors into the foxbody cars. if you do a quick google search i think there are kits to do sbc swaps.Theres even a company thats even done nissan rb motor swaps.

very common.
i would obviously say go with an gen III-IV if you did a swap. you can buy complete engine/trans/accessories/harness CHEAP from junkyards/parters

My painter that did my 69 put my old Chevy 302 (bad ass motor) in his early 4 eyed Fox Body with hard any major mods needed.
It’ll be out this summer.
Hey, they put 302 Fords in them, why not a 302 Chevy? 🙂
