I bought a 98 dollar one for my room. Fuck the rest of the house. Doors / windows are open and closed so much it would never turn off.
My only complaint is the fan on it hardly blows. Its ice cold right in front of it.
I just put a box fan infront of it to move air around the room. Works 100 times better now.

This claims its a 5500 BTU, My last one was WAY to big for my room. I think my room is 12x14 or 14x16 12k BTU was excessive.

I gotta get one of these freestanding a/c units quick. Ceiling fan plus an oscillating fan along with all the casements open and its still 88° in this damn house.

The casement air conditioner actually is really easy to install, I’d get one over the freestanding one. I have a 5,000 btu in my room and it cools just fine and blows fine, I only use fridigare they work the best
