i could be wrong but ive used both and i didnt see much of a difference. its basically a factory service manual online plus tsb’s and estimated time and prices so you can price jobs.

its pretty good imo. better than a haynes or a chiltons by far.

From their FAQ:

> [@AllDataDIYSiteThatJonShouldHaveBeenAbleToFind](#):
>
> **How much does it cost for a subscription?** For the initial subscription price of $24.95 you will have access to your specific year, make, and model vehicle for a full year or $44.95 for three years. Additional vehicles after the first are available at the discounted price of $14.95 per vehicle per year or $29.95 for three years. You must register to receive access to the site and you must also register for each additional vehicle.

So eh… I’ve always been able to get by with a Haynes or factory service manual and once you buy that you have it forever. Plus no need to go on the computer, all covered in grime, to print out some section you didn’t think you’d need in the middle of the project. With a manual you just drag it under the car with you.

the haynes and chiltons manuals kinda suck. all data goes so far as to tell you length and thread pitch of every bolt. if i could get a helms for all my cars i would, but thats not an option.
