I heard something real quick and had to look it up… I thought BMW was out, and I guess at some point they were because they’ve sold there team to some company which somehow is turning the team into a lotus team for 2010, but then BMW reapplied to have a team? odd > **[Lotus granted 13th entry for 2010 - F1 - Autosport](https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/78648/lotus-granted-13th-entry-for-2010)** > > The Lotus F1 team has been awarded the 13th entry in the 2010 Formula 1 championship, the governing body announced on Tuesday. ---

Yeah, Lotus will be back, but it won’t be like when Colin Chapman was alive. The Malaysian government actually will have a stake in the team. ---

Lotus coming back is real interesting… what’s odd is that BMW was out, sold their team, and now they want back in. ---
