its not original and some might say its copying elliot… but it has nothing to do with looks… more “functionality” I was wondering if anyone around here has experiance with fiberglass/carbon fiber Elliot I know yourself made your carbon fiber t-tops if i remember correctly… Now I was thinking I want to replace the glass in my t-tops with just plane fiberglass or carbon fiber… theres a couple reasons for this… 1. I hate t-top shades their a PITA and look like shit IMO… and on a hot bright summer day if the t-tops are on because the sun is hot, or if their on because its sitting, the sun getting interior heating it up rapidly… I would think this would decrease tempratures drasticly as its not directly hitting anything in the car 2. Weight, plain and simple ---

doing CF isnt much different than fiberglass… you just have to keep the weave straight if you want it to look good… same basic concept though ---

elliot didnt make his cf t tops and if u want to make a set of t-tops for u ask jim and elliot to help jim does great fiberglass work and elliot has worked with cf for a few things ---

I if you need a set of t tops i have a set from my old 86 2+2 i will sell really cheap Yea, cheap 2+2 t-tops would be great… I plan on havin git done, but its not on a high priority list, its one of those, after the car is running and everything is legit then ill do it… But if I give someone the spair set of T’s if they could just at least look for now and tell me if they think they could do it and make it look legit and not a hack job, let me know and I have no problem giving the t-tops to you just for you to experiament… On another note, the possibility for **_money to be made_** here as well as I know a few Z31 members have talked about doing this to their t-tops as well. ---
