I drove one several years ago and it impressed me. I dont know what Id really do with it though since I dont need a daily driver type car. Id have to redo the suspension or something. If its the car I think it is its not in bad shape as far as looks go. Its across from Price Chopper in Saratoga and has NM plates. ---

mazdaspeed proteges just have a turbo kit slapped on a regular mazda protege motor. no provisions internally for boost. ---

I wouldnt be going for all out speed or drag racing it so it should be ok. Id just like to make it handle curves and twisting roads. ---

Id rather go with a fwd actually. I had a Neon that handled really good and my brother had a Focus ZTS (factory handling suspension) that handled awesome, especially after putting on an SVT rear sway bar. ---

if you want to handle, then why dont you buy an awd car?? they are the best type of street car imo. trust me, i own a rwd, awd, and fwd car at this moment lol. ---
