external wg \> internal wg.

internal wg doesn’t hold higher boost well regardless of the ebc

Mine looks better with a 38mm -\> 40mm WG conversion
flanges/tubes :o :hsugh:
Complimentary of my dad. :bowdown:

Buttload of pics to come in a few days. :noes:

Where’s that oil feed (or is it water?) line supposed to be going? Under the turbo?

oh and bing

you’re talking shit

tons of the features teh AVC-R has are to compensate for the poor boost control of an actuator type controller. Things like boost drop off at high rpm and boost wobble all can be cured with good avc-r tuning 🙂

</div>

bing what are you talking about playa thats not true at all

most of the features on the AVCR are for internal gates and there there to control boost spiking, the whole solonid duty cycle tuning which is how you control your boost is pretty much there to control spiking and rid it at every rpm point.

do external wastegates yield any power gains? i’ve seen people say yes and no. you dont have a before and after dyno do you happy?

</div>

theoretically if there was less restriction then yes you would see HP gains but i would guess they would be small (2-3hp)

but you will see midrange power gains while the internal is still building boost external will be at full boost and that area difference on a dyno is useable powaaaaaaaa

Exact words of my guru, Mr. Corky Bell

Not much to go by but obviously if you want performance down the road,
may as well go external. Nothing wrong with staying internal.

Anyways this topic is about an electronic boost controller so lets keep the

cant argue with that… any motor that requires 1000cc+ injectors must be at least kinda fast? 🙂

Don’t listen to this man. He runs a Mitsubishi with paper mache for
